Two totally different guitars. The only similarity is the body wood and fret board wood.

Ibanez: Maple neck, 22 frets, trem, bolt on, passive pups, 25.5" scale

Schecter: Mahogany neck, 24 frets, string through, set neck, EMGs, 26.5" scale.

Personally, I prefer the Schecter (thicker body, longer scale, EMGs), so I got it. The only way to choose between those two is to play them (or the most similar models that you have available).

There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
And it's filled with people who are filled with shit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
But not for long ...

Atomic_gerbil is a jewel in the rough
I have tried both.

The Ibanez is awesome, but the C-7 Hellraiser was totally killer in sound and looks. Now that I have had my Hellraiser set up, if I went back and compared the two directly, the HR would slay it. Then again, I don't like fooling around with locking trems and I enjoy the nice tone of a meaty 707.

what is the price for each guitar in portugal?

Well, the S7320 is around 650 Euros ( $939 ) and the C7 Hellraiser i can get it for 819 Euros ( $1,182 ) but i have to order ir from Germany because 7string models from shecter are not available to Portugal... yet! They say maybe April, March... but hell... i dont wanna wait so long!! Even because it will cost more in Portugal than in Germany, like 1000euros or something!!

ouch.
well both guitars are about equal quality, so i'll make a few comparisons
both have excellent tuning stablity, especially if the zr is blocked. one has locking tuners and a fixed bridge, and the other a locking nut and fine tuners. the latter is actually the most precise for tuning on a fixed bridge setup.
you'll need a pup swap on the s, realistically, but i think that would be offset by the price difference.
as was mentioned, the schecter is a bit baritoney, even though a full baritone is considered 27", but its close enough. i like the extended scale of the hellraiser, but i like the trem so i grabbed the s
if you want a fixed bridge, id say they are about equivalent quality. honestly, other than the trem, the emg's are the dealbreaker for me, as i want some in one guitar, but not my main trem equipped guitar

Umm, if you're talking about the Hellraiser in the first part of that statement, it doesn't have locking tuners stock. Just regular Grovers.

yeah, the dollar is so much cheaper than the Euro!! if you convert the US prices of those two guitars to EUro, you'll see how cheap they can be for european people... About the schecter, the tuners are non-locking Grovers!!

=)

should i consider one having a bolt-on neck and the other a set-neck? or it does not matter much?
