I'm finally getting one! (after 3 years!)

Just about to send the money for an Ibanez RG2077xl,

Been looking for one for about 3 years but whenever one came up i never had any damn money!

Hopefully receive it before christmas eve, if so we'll be using it for all the guitar tracks on the album (recording all the guitar tracks from 26th onwards)

Really wanted the 1077xl in black but i'm sure ill live!

Nah not off someone from here, although hide has helped me with the seller as he speaks mainly in Italian.
Lets hope it arrives here ok,

got a few pictures already...

Shipping it in a gigbag just isn't cool, lets hope it arrives here ok

I was shipped a 7420 from the states in just a box a few years ago and that arrived 100% fine, so fingers crossed for this

Just put some bareknuckles in it, those guitars really like them, and tim will rewind the middle single coil into something usefull as well

Had the savage for a few years now, toured with it 3 times, fancy a change, thinking either an invader 100 or a diezel herbert.

the savage still sounds awesome, i guess i'm looking for something slightly different. Even contemplating a 5150+ as i a/b between a pod for cleans direct to the pa anyhow.

I'd definately recommend the BKP's though, the two shows I've played with them they've just cut through the mix light a hot knife through butter!

You could always respray it

Been toying with the idea of giving it a flame maple top veneer.
will see what condition it's in when it arrives.
Think it's pretty imaculate so i may leave it.

What is your band btw dude, want to check it out

Which Bareknuckle do you have btw? Nailbomb 7's?

GOt a 6 string with a warpig and it's not tight enough for me. but it sounds massive.

Nailbomb in the bridge, Cold Sweat in the neck. The warpig always just looked like way too much out of a pickup. If you want uber-tightness then the Lundgrens are definately it, however if you want close to Uber-tightness and more musicality and rawk, then definately the Nailbomb.

All depends what you are going for!

I love Meshuggah/Ion Dissonance type stuff.
but it also has to have a full clean sound as we use alot of cleans under riffs.
