![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Backup Plan (omen 7 extreme) Ok, so here's the scoop. so far, my friend is in the lead on bids for his F30 (no 7 for me any time soon if this is the case). IF he ends up losing the bid: today i am calling to check on the price of the hellraiser. if it is still $550 shipped, i get that. if the price is up to the $770 (online price), then I will find out how much the Omen 7 extreme is. I know that many of you play ibby RG7's, and those have basswood bodies. i also know that many of you guys get great tone. I think i can get the Omen7E to work with my rig and get killer sounds. have any of you guys played this guitar? what were your thoughts? i remember last year? when the "local" store started carrying schecter, i played the only one they had - an omen 6 into a flextone combo. on plexi mode, with the usual amount of gain i used, this thing sounded pretty damn good! not down w/ the $600 price tag on it, but that's due to the store. the fit and finish was really good, and the playability was amazing. the neck felt very good to me as well. so if the C7 is back up in price, and i sell my amp, i will get the omen 7 extreme. discuss ![]() 3 cheers for free gear!
