Ibanez LA Custom Shop S-Series Neck-Thru 7 String, Wine Red

neck-through body construction w/ three-piece neck
contoured mahogany body, thicker than a stock S-series guitar
thick flame maple top
Lo-Pro Edge 7 tremolo
H/S/H pickups custom wound by Steve Bluecher at DiMarzio
5 way superswitch wired for custom coil cut combinations
DPDT push/pull tone pot activates a single coil mode in all switch positions

This LA Custom Shop guitar was owned by Ibanez endorsee David Fiuczynski, whose work as leader of Screaming Headless Torsos and with his many instrumental fusion projects is uniquely creative. I rewired the switching into a more versatile configuration

that thing is hot, nver seem one s742 like that would love to play it, though if it has a thicker neck than the regular its pretty much just a looker

Very much true, they had a IBANEZ S7320 at my local music store for a while and the string height was really really low, and overall feel of the guitar was just sweet. It's just the pickups and the price that's bad about it.
I like having 24 frets, i love 27, but I can play on 22 without crying to much.
