Cort Viva 7 pics
I have been meaning to do this for some time. A new Digital Camera prompted me.
It's my backup and beat on guitar. The mightymite pickups are surprizingly good and pretty hot. Body is like a Ibanez Saber. Offset abalone inlay. Trem sucks, but I blocked it anyway. Not sure of the body wood but it's got mojo in spades. Not a bad catch for 175$.

I love the neck. It's thinner than my 7620 (!) and fast as hell. If It had a better paint job, a locking Floyd, and a 5 way switch instead of the 3 way; it could become my main player. It also has a stock phase switch on the tone control.

The trem would probably be ok if the guitar had locking tuners. You can't really get away with a Wilkinson-type trem without them. Otherwise, that seems like a really nice guitar for $175.00

A set of really good tuning pegs, perhaps like the ones on a PRS, would do wonders for it too. Still a nice backup axe dude. =)

It's has a set of Gotoh tuners on it. They are pretty nice. They skimped on the trem
I'm searching for a suietable replaement.. |

Yeah, iirc those PRS tuners, the ones with the little locking wheel at the bottom - really nice.
Not that I'm a Schecter fanboy (ok, I am) but, as Josh will probably attest to, the tuners on my C7 are some of the nicest I've come across. They never, ever slip. |
