Well, only Canadians and Americans get the 50% discount, really. So, they're losing some business over seas because they make everyone else pay double for options.

It hasn't "always" been 50% off. But it has been for a few years, at least. It's been that way so long that they should just make those the regular prices. But yeah, the marketing guys probably like keeping the 50% off thing 'cause it sounds good. This "limited time offer" could end next month. But I'd be really shocked if it did.
