Has anyone made any experiences with This guitar? I'm considering it just for the reverse headstock coolness.

was actually going to ask the very same a while ago, i even contacted them asking whether they’d consider providing one without inlays.

to be honest, no matter how good the photography or how lusciously comical the translations are on their website, when the agile interceptor is only marginally more expensive i don’t really see the point.

which reminds me… *schniff*

schniff?

I also consider the interceptor. and IMO the agile looks a lot better, and that's all I have to base anything on

it’s probably me, but as i mentioned elsewhere on this forum i felt thoroughly dismissed by kurt at rondo recently, as if any dialogue i was having with him was in some way a hindrance when i was actually offering business. i could really do with one of this guitars and i think they’re great, but to be honest i’m not sure how i feel about it now, i’d sooner take up roter’s offer to have one custom made to a price not very, very far away.

right now i’m looking into getting myself an old RG7 body, modding it to hell then trying to find some kind of reverse headstock 7 neck or a left handed RG7620 neck, if it’s possible simply to turn them upside down like that (obviously problems at the neck / body join notwithstanding)

Excellent. Then take your hindrance somewhere else and offer it to someone who sees it for what it is - oppurtunity.

If he honestly thinks he can make money by being snooty as customers then I commend him, and would ask him how big he would like his company's gravestone? Excellent offer on Basalt this way, sir...

Kurt told us he would be very busy 2 months prior to Xmas.
We're beeing very unpatient with our little guitar-players needs... It's like we deserve to get everything right away.
Hell, we would have to wait 2 years for a custom Jackson.

Now does that justify Kurt not taking 15 seconds to reply to a mail to tell us he's loaded and will shortly get back to us? No.

it just surprised me, you know? i mean, i've since tried to look over (again again again) what was written and the worst i can see is that i was asking some points on potential custom work.

now, yes, i was asking about this from the get-go, but then on the site he commends his players & customers making suggestions, which is what i was doing. i had provided him with clear rundowns of what i was after on a separate document, so when he was asked what i meant a second time, i referred him simply to the doc in question, at which point he said he didn't have time to read it and had things to do that weekend. fine, ok, so i tried later, saying to him that i do understand how busy he must be.

eventually it got to the point of me having to supply the rundown of the interceptor custom idea again, but in an email. when he gave an extremely terse reply about problems & shipping, i tried to sympathise and then lessened what i wanted, asking just for an interceptor pro as is (as seen on the site) but with 27" scale length neck he effectively told me to buzz off as he was too busy until at least next year. i take that to be a man that doesn't want my business.

yes it's a great source of budget guitars, but to some a few hundred quid will make a dent in finances and frankly i don't take to being brushed aside about that sort of an investment.
