Jackson Custom Shop Demon 7 String (Warning: large pics may cause demonic possession

Well, its here, my second Jackson Custom Shop 7 string. I give you, the Demon in bright yellow pearl with abalone flame inlays, ebony fretboard, string-thru body, chrome hardware, and Dimarzio Blaze pickups. What I was going for was a super-hero version of the 540P in desert yellow. I had the single knob and selector set-up close to the old Ibz set-up. The color is a bright pearl/metallic version of DY. The inlays... god, the inlays. Un-....ing-real. The pick-ups are clean and perfect for sweeps and arpeggiated riffs with just enough meat for solid rhythms. The neck is absolutely sweet, slim, and fast. The overall feel is one of a true handmade guitar. Killer set-up. As they don't make many of these, you can actually see & feel the handcarving in the shape. The bevels on mine are a little different than previous ones, being more pronounced on the upper horn. This guitar was ordered April 2006, delivered just about 2 weeks ago - well worth the wait. I really couldn't be happier with this one. Here's the pics:

I dig how the logo has the different cuts of abalone.

Yeah, I really like the SLS headstock! I was going to go for a reverse on this one but decided the SLS would probably offer better tuning stability and so far, this thing holds a tuning amazingly well for a string-thru guitar. Bridge pup is a Blaze Custom and neck is a regular Blaze.

ibby had a body style like this, i forget the name. i preferred that models looks a bit, but this definitely is better than other cs demons ive seen. i dunno what it is. this one just flows a bit better
