Ideas for a TIL custom Baritone 7

so, here i was gonna go buy about 4 or 5 cheaper 7s, as i accumulated money, but thats changed. Im going to finish putting together my s7320, but then a new plan starts. I was interested with bulbs, then really interested with tosins, and now, with the dude from iocenes guitar, im totally sold on a TIL custom. Everything of his i've seen is amazing, not to mention the way tiger was ranting about how cool it is. So price willing, i'm going for one. It wont be too immediate, but im looking into exactly what i want.

Ill show you guys what im thinking so far, i've asked for jesse's input, Id like to hear from you guys.

Ive got my body style pretty well decided. upper horn of a manne raven, bottom horn of a schecter 007, and an arm countour sort of like what he had done on bulbs. I want a bolt through like a couple of esps i've played, and like the manne's i've seen have. Im thinking a combo of mahogany and ash for the body. H/H config and a piezo TOM.
Heres where the funky starts. im looking for a longer scale, longer than a 27. but i've played 30's and they were just a touch too long, so i asked about a 28.5". What do you guys think about that? As far as neck construction, i was thinking a mahogany/maple/bloodwood lam of some sort, with an extended version of an ibanez wizard7 profile. Birdseye maple fretboard is a must.
Like i said, piezo tom, and a pair of bareknuckles.

So any questions? advisements? neat ideas? anything? let me know what you guys think

27.5 or 28 works well too it would seem. Personally every 27" baritone I've used, with 7s or 8s, I found to be just fine for me.

I liked the 27, but I liked the 30 even more, it was just a touch too long. I just sort of threw my hand down my bass neck to see where it would land at an imaginary 1st fret a few times, measured that and averaged it, added an approximately appropriate distance to my hypothetical nut, and came up with 28.5 inches. Checked where that would be on my guitar, and it seemed about perfect actually. that and its about right for moving down an extra 2 frets.
28 5/8th's i guess

heres what im lookin at, but this is 25.5, so extend the neck out a little.

i dont know why the edges are so choppy online, it looks clearer when i open it on my computer

Nice project, but don't use mahogany for neck with that scale, I suggest something harder like wenge or bubinga

1) round the edges of that cutout or it'll poke you in the gut while playing
2) unless you have REALLY small hands or don't play high on the neck widen the lower horn cutout... my hand smacking the lower horn was the reason I got rid of my 007

Remember the bridge doesn't stay in the same position, so you'll have to change right hand placement too....or be willing to have a large overhanging neck.

yeah, i NEVER go waay up on the neck, and i really liked the feel of the 007 actually. my hands arent particularly small, but not bigger than average.

Yeah, im anticipating that, i was just too lazy to extend it in the picture

I do alot of bass in my bands lately, so its not an issue comfort wise, it would actually be a bit more natural feeling i think when playing really low to have it be longer. more of what im used to. I like the long scale of basses, but i like the closer strings and thinner gauges of guitar, so im shootin for a nice in between here

Bubinga would be a great neck wood here.

Rosewood will be ok, but use multipieces neck with ebony or wenge to add strenght with long scales.
