Loomis String gauge

Hello there, as a new user of this GREAT guitar I want to know something. Please does anyone know the string gauge that comes with that guitar??? I want to replace them for the same kind of strings.

This is from the FAQ on Schecter's website.

The downside is the stock GHS set has a .060 for the low B not a .056. So you'll have to piece together your own sets.

That can't be true. My Hellraiser came with D'Addarios.

You can tell the brand by simply playing them?

D'addarios came with colored ball end, and I think it's patented or something... so yea he can tell

Not always.

And besides, i thought he had a C7FR.. those have floyds. No Ball ends

No...but when he bought it probably came with a fetching tag saying "Strung with D'ADDARIO strings.

Assuming he bought it from some schemey shop like GC, there is a good chance they didn't change the strings.

That tag must've been added after the fact, since Schecter has been using EB10-56 for years.

If they're EB strings, they last about... two days.

My Gryphon had a D'addario tag on it when I got it.

My Loomis came with the D'Adarrio tag although I don't think they were D'Adarrios on there. I since switched to a D'Addario 10-59 set.

I like this topic.

How do you guys fimnd the string tension with the 10-56s that come on the Schecter's with 26.5 scale length.

I find the strings a bit to light and flappy and have been trying to find a pack of strings that go from an 11 up to a 60, maybe even a 65 and I can't find anything anywhere. I think I'm going to have to get a set of 14s for a 6 string and then buy an 11, which is a pain.

Yup: When I got my HR, there was a nice'ol tag: Strung at factory with D'Addarios.
