 | A Coincidence With Pics So, after buying a number of guitars this year, my 8 string, 2027, I had no need for another guitar. And seriously no intention of buying another 7 for a really long time. A month ago I pulled my old Gibson LP studio out of mothballs (I have barely touched it since I switched to 7s many years ago). It was in disrepair and I cleaned it up and made it playable again. And I was really surprised how good it sounded. I had completely forgotten. Since then I've had a little GAS for a set neck, mahogany 7 string to see if I could get some of that tone. Earlier this week I had an irrational GAS attack for a Schecter C7 Blackjack. I just started looking at it and thinking very seriously about picking one up, used probably, though there seemed to be few available. The idea of buying one new didn't seem so bad either. This afternoon I decided to go out to Guitar Center and play on a Hellraiser (they don't stock Blackjacks much that I can tell). I haven't played many Schecter 7s and I wanted to make sure I would like one before I started seriously looking at them. I arrived at GC, and I look on the wall. What do you know, a brand new C7 Blackjack for... uh... 347 bucks? Is that right? The guy working there said that it was a special order someone made and didn't pay, and they weren't supposed to keep it in stock long (they don't keep Blackjacks in stock, only Hellraisers) so they slashed the price down. I had no choice. It was fate. I was thinking about it all week and there it was for $350, new. I bought it immediately. Pics!     |

| That's pretty slick man, which GC was it? Good stuff, I have wanted one of them but I have way too many guitars here and incoming so I have managed to ward it off but I still kinda want a Schecter! |
