Looks like a Sustainiac pickup this could be a sweet addition to my project guitar.

Edit: nevermind, it is a sustainiac, these units are used on some Jackson guitars like the dinky firestorm.

Nope not at all, I just dont know if they are as good as the fernandes sustainer.

The geral consensus is that they are better than fernandes. I haven't used either one, but I have a 7 string fernades humbucker sustainer here waiting to be installed in my guitar.

I placed a bid on the sustainiac but I'm wondering if it will crowd up my guitar, I would have to arrange for the bridge to be lower on the body and mount this close to my bridge pickup or I can do a single pickup guitar and install humbucker version in the neck. This is so I can get the same spacing between the two pickups without having interference with the single coil.

im not sure I follow what you're saying. But the sustainer in the neck position shouldn't affect the other pickups. And it has to go in the neck position.
