Aw nuts!

Well as some of you may recall I bought a Ibanez rg7620 VK from RGPLAYER that used to be Drews', and recently I was tuning it up and noticed one of the lock nut screws is stripped! Do any of you know where to get replacements that will fit? It looks like a regular one might not. Thanks for the help doods. Rock on.

Happens all the time. Any modern music store should have a replacement for a few bucks. A regular one will fit just fine.

One of the topmount ones, or one of the ones from underneith?

When I had it, one on top had been chewed up a bit by a bur in the nut pad, but while the top half (near the allen key section) was stripped, the business end that screwed into the nut was good. It came from the factory that way - I'm not sure how or why, but it worked perfectly so I never really got worried about. If that's what you're talking about (for reference, I'm 90% sure it was the treble side), then it's nothing to worry about.

Don't sweat it, man. This happens all the time with lock nuts. I used to have a custom BC Rich Ironbird and had to replace those nuts all the time. They're made of that black soft metal. To get it out, just shove a little tape on the end of the allan wrench and then buy a few more for spares.
