Ordering a carvin soon

and i was wondering how i should go about doing it. should i call them up and do it over the phone, or should i just do it through the net?

Even if I could have made my guitar exactly like I wanted it online, I would have called a sales rep and have him run through the specs with me... Who knows, I might have missed something cool...

Yep. You can even ask for a top shelf piece of maple for the top if you go that route.

This board should fucking get money from guitar and amp companies ..

every time somoene posts about a new guitar or amp ( most recently the ENGL craze and now i guess Carvin.. ) everybody seems to be getting one..

damn you SS org for your gearwhore promoting!

P.S im getting one soon... so i say it in a positive way

I wouldn't say it's a craze so much as people starting to try different things. The DC727 has been around a while and non-SS.org'ers are still ordering them all the time.

It just seems like more because people post here when they are getting them.

i pretty much bust a nut every time someone posts a new 727. thanks for the info guys. i'll hopefully be ordering early to mid november. i hear the carvin pickup changes are hard to do. would i need to alter anything if i wanted to install q tuners or lundgrens?

Yes, you will have to get the pickup routes widened (and possibly made deeper too) to fit just about any type of aftermarket pickup. One of the only things I dislike about Carvin guitars....

It's all good, the guy I'm having do mine is a pro so the only thing I'm worried about is how long it will take before I receive my guitar back after I give it to him.
