S7320 neck
okay I did some searching around the forum and couldn't really find what I was looking for, SO... I was wondering if anyone had the exact specs for the S7320 neck? I've heard mix things like the neck is a little bigger, but some people still love the way it plays compared to the RG. So anyone know the measurements of the neck? lemme know!

Its a Wizard II-7. It is exactly the same (dimensionally) as the neck found on the RG7321, RG7EXFX, and I think the newer RG1527's have the Wizard II-7. At any rate, they don't make the Wizard-7 any more, which is a shame, because that was a fantastic neck.
Basically, it is 2mm thicker than the necks on the S7420, RG7420, RG7421, RG7620 and RG7621 and older UV's (kind of a different case there though) Other dimensions are the same, so the neck, in being thicker, has a more pronounced 'D' shape as opposed to a very very shallow 'C' on the old Wizard-7. I prefer the older necks - but another thing to remember is that they were all hand finished, wheras the Wizard II-7 doesn't recieve the same amount of attention. In case you haven't noticed, the S-series Wizard II-7 also has 22 frets, wheras the RG's have 24. ![]() |

the fretboard radius on the S7 is 400mm and 430mm on the RG Prestige Neck, so the RG should feel a bit flater

well i hated how the 7321 was shaped, constantly cramped my hand, but once i played Ricks 7420 and my 1077, i found my hand butter. They had that nice "C" shape as opposed to the "D" shape of the wizard II-7
