What pups (humuckers Seymore Duncan) are in 7 string ESP/LTD guitars ?

I believe all of the current ESP/LTD 7-string models have EMGs, unless they have a model or two for the Japanese market that I've forgotten about.

The LTDs have duncan designed pickups in them, the ESPs have Seymour Duncans

LTD 207 series had Duncan Designed, Supposed to sound like a JB/59 combo but we all know they sound like ass.

LTD 307 series had the "soap bar" EMG-HZ's which were ok but nothing to write home about.

I was only talking about current models, not the old H-207 or 307, sorry. I believe the lower-level original LTD sevens (M-107, M-207, and H-207) had those awful Duncan Design pickups, while the higher-level ones (M-307, H-307, MH-307) had EMG-Hz pickups. The original ESP SRC-7 had Duncan JB/59/single coil combo.

Definitely don't go for the Duncan Design pickups. The real Duncans cost a little more, but they sound about a zillion times better. A 59/Jazz combo in your LP would be a good setup. A Duncan Custom in the bridge would be great also, if you want higher output but not overpowering.
