![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I believe all of the current ESP/LTD 7-string models have EMGs, unless they have a model or two for the Japanese market that I've forgotten about. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | LTD 207 series had Duncan Designed, Supposed to sound like a JB/59 combo but we all know they sound like ass. LTD 307 series had the "soap bar" EMG-HZ's which were ok but nothing to write home about. "and I sure as shit don't fucking roll! Shomer shabbos!" |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was only talking about current models, not the old H-207 or 307, sorry. I believe the lower-level original LTD sevens (M-107, M-207, and H-207) had those awful Duncan Design pickups, while the higher-level ones (M-307, H-307, MH-307) had EMG-Hz pickups. The original ESP SRC-7 had Duncan JB/59/single coil combo. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Definitely don't go for the Duncan Design pickups. The real Duncans cost a little more, but they sound about a zillion times better. A 59/Jazz combo in your LP would be a good setup. A Duncan Custom in the bridge would be great also, if you want higher output but not overpowering. |
