 | Poll - Fretboard on Septor 7-27 Pro EMG: maple/ebony? I think ebony is going to be more popular, but I have started to see in general people ask for maple boards more and more on a variety of guitar platforms. So which would you like to see on the new Septor 7-27 Pro EMG? I personally choose Maple. I've heard good things, and on an Agile guitar that is being built for SS's convenience, we should also ask Kurt for a Maple board instead of ebony. Stats: Model name: Septor 7-27 Pro EMG EMG 707s Mahogany Body 27" scale 5 piece maple neck-thu body construction Ebony fretboard with no markers. | I say Ebony. I just can't stand the look of Maple fretboards and I don't like the way they feel. Now Birdseye maple would be cool  It all narrows down to personal taste. |

| Ooh, ouch. Poll is not going in my way at ALL. I've never tried maple, but I've heard it's amazing--and on a guitar that I asked for and Kurt made...  This thing is my version of a better Loomis. Which is just a 27" scale. |

  | There's only two production 7s i can recall with maple, the old UV77GR and the current Jeff Loomis. I vote maple, there's not nearly enough of it.  | i don't plan on getting one of these guitars, but i am going to get a custom interceptor from agile, and i'm getting a maple board on that one, so maple for me! also, since kurt watches this site to see what features he should put into his guitars, MAKE SURE YOU ARE CLEAR ON WHETHER OR NOT YOU'RE INTERESTED IN BUYING ONE OF THESE NEW GUITARS!!! it would seriously suck if 1,827,638,217 people voted for maple (and subsequently the maple boarded one was built), but the 7 people who voted for ebony are the ones actually buying the guitar. | Kurt, if the guitar is under 500 dollars like you said, I will be the first to get one. Hopefully it is our color choice, but I would be partial to a Tribal Blue / Tribal Green. That's a fucking PROMISE. |

| lol problem is (Absolutley no disrespect to Kurt) I have never played an agile and I'm not sure if i would like one. I am very picky, but Agiles seem to be great guitars. Hell, I'm starting GAS for a Septor EMG. Damnit! |
