and Ebony board its not a good match with maple neck because Ebony has a tendency to move in the opposite direction from Maple, that why ebony usually cracks in those necks, its much better mahogany neck/ebony board.

...Who tends to exaggerate the drawbacks of ebony. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with ebony on maple. It doesn't matter how many pieces a neck is- in fact, a neck with a higher number of pieces is often more stable.

I'd be happy with maple or ebony.

How about an option of an all-mahogany body (no figured top) and an oil finish over the whole guitar?

We finally have something going with Rondo about a customized Interceptor which I really want and will buy - and then I see a thread about maple/ebony boards on the interceptor. Well, at that price, I'd take it either way. Let Kurt decide.

I voted ebony, all the other Septors/Interceptors are ebony (I think?), but if it's maple, hell, it's still a 27", 24 fret, hard tail, high-quality 7 string for a STEAL of a price! I don't care if he paints it PINK, I'll still do everything in my power to come up with the cash.

Plus, if it's pink, Stitch can finally have his custom
