![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Describing tone is almost as difficult as explaining the way something tastes. For lack of a better term, I would describe it as "Balanced." All I can say specifically is that it's got a slightly stronger upper midrange than my Fernandez. It's not a particularly bright wood when unplugged, but it's not as middy as mahogany. To me, it's right in between, but it has a little magic-factor to it. Plugged in, I find that the frequency spectrum is rich, such that I can shape my tone with ease. If I can find a decent FFT program, I'd like to compare the frequency spectrums of the high and low E's versus a mahogany guitar and a maple guitar. I bet it'd have some of the presence of the mahogany with the low range of the maple, but I can't say for sure, yet. ![]() |
