I'm sure many of my customers would love to get this option, as normally they do not work at all without a 9-27v power source connected. ![]() Please be kind to snakes. They can't help it. ![]() |

![]() ![]() | Thanks all! A couple quick answers: 1. I am actually only 6'1, I'm just fat. ![]() 2. Yes, the wiring just bypasses the preamp for the passive setting. 3. It sounds pretty neat, it just cuts off about 70% of the signal, so, on the right gain setting, I can go from distortion to clean with the flip of a switch. It's fun to mess around with. I still haven't perfected how to utilize it yet though. Not all the mods were done by me, it was a collaborative effort between me and a good friend. I got the guitar sanded down, he filled the neck pup with a piece of swamp ash, I got it all primer-ed and got some flat black on it. I actually had him do the wiring, because my hands aren't too stable when it comes to soldering, and he airbrushed the flames. He is beginning to build custom guitars, so I figured that I would collaborate from the get-go with him to help him get his foot through the door, in a matter of speaking. And like was said, I'm not a big flame person, he actually surprised me with that one, but I am very pleased with it. ![]() Thanks for the feedback! Keep it coming!! ![]() |

Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known. ![]() |
