Halo 7 string Octavia

I see that Halo makes 7 strings with the Octavia body. I have seen a pic of the Octavia 6 string but I was wondering if anyone had a pic/owned an octavia 7? I just think an 8 would be over the top for my needs and wouldn't mind some info on the 7...

They can definitely make one, but from what I've seen that body only looks right with an eight string neck on it... take a look at the pics of the white six string, the neck looks like a toothpick on that body

The only way to know for sure is to PM W4D and see if he has any pics of one with a seven string neck... it might be wide enough to look right.

The 7 seven string Octavia is in stock right now. Black on Black. Lic. Floyd rose, 1 halo humbucker (bridge position), 1 volume. I love 'em! I have a Yamaha AES-RS7 on the way and I reckon they look like THE SHIT! And those Octavia's look awesome!

I saw that pic technomancer... it kinda looked like arse so I have emailed Jeff for some pics of the 7.

Just got this sent through from Jeff from Halo...

The 7 string doesn't look too damn bad! definitely not as anorexic as the 6 that's for sure...

Time to save up for ANOTHER seven

Is that some kind of Floyd on there? I thought Halo had standardized on the Kahlers for everything...

Thats what I thought too... I emailed them some questions but hadn't noticed that about the trem until after I sent it. I will have to ask if they offer a 7 string kahler cause I wold prefer that. Pups look pretty generic too.

Can't wait to see your 8... I know u have been waiting a while!

To me that 7 String Octavia looks like its missing a string. The body just doesnt seem right with a 7 string neck.

Is that cause you know it was made for 8 strings? Its hard to distance ones self sometimes.

nice guitar ...but if you have just 1 pickup there ,.. maybe you can have 29 fret with baritone scale...
