Hey, how about this:

You pay 100% of the astronomical costs of hiring someone to reprogram all their designs to 7 string versions. Just because its made on a CAD mill doesn;t mean its cheap. It still costs thousands of dollars in labor to program the machines.

Although I personally probably wouldn't buy it, I think that's a great idea and would probably sell really well. The CT6 is a gorgeous guitar. That's one seven-string Carvin I would actually consider buying if they made it (at the moment, there are no 7-string Carvins I'd consider buying).

Imagine this as a seven-string (the big one in the top middle is a Carvin I'd consider buying. That top is so beautiful).

On the other hand, I doubt a 7-string version of the Holdsworth signature would sell.

I tried for years to get them to do this and it fell on deaf ears...now that
a they have a few new management people in the office who actually love and play 7's maybe we can get them to Budge? i am in ....

H2 7 would be a great Jazz guitar I am not really sure if it would excell as a metal instrument? maybe Fusion?

Oh yeah, it would be a fusion monster. Imagine Allan Holdsworth or Shawn Lane with another string to play around with...

I signed, but I'd really rather have an HF2 7-string, preferably with a baritone scale neck.

Ray

The Ultimate Question: What string gauge is needed for 18.84# of tension when tuned to E2 on a 27" scale guitar?
