The band is called Ankla i havent heard any of there music yet.

Thats one of the few guitars where the maple fretboard actually matches the finish of the guitar.

I saw them at Ozzfest in Dallas, they were just OK, nothing special. But that guitar palyer whipped out some terrific solos.

Seriously, what's the marketing standpoint here? They have endorsers play Ibanez brand guitars, but they're not really Ibanez guitars at all, they're custom shop guitars made of unobtainium.

It's like NASCAR....no one really thinks you can buy a Monte Carlo that goes that fast, so why even bother calling it one or putting the stickers on the side?

I guess the answer is people really are that gullible to marketing.

True though and nicely said. I think Ibanez should at least make a 7 with a maple fretboard.
