I'm kinda surprised he's using a Neutrik, I always thought Ibanez's recessed angled jack was the best. For me anyway.

There was a time, in the early 90's, when most of the endorsers played somewhat stock-looking guitars. Murphy, Rocky George, Larry Mitchell, Skolnick, etc. The guys with notable customs, like Vai, Gilbert, and Beach had sig models available(even if only in Japan).

They seem to be a shell of their former selves now. Although when, if ever, have they had a seriously varied 7-string selection? The UVs were, but that was over a period of 7-8 years. The base RG7 has almost always been basswood with a rosewood board(RG76xx/74xx/7321/1527/1077/etc).
