![]() | My Chris Woods RGA7 is finally complete! I finally got around to finishing the custom Christopher Woods RGA7 body I bought a few months back! This was my first time finishing a guitar body, and it turned out pretty good, though I couldve done a better job staining it. It plays and sounds fantastic though! ![]() Just ignore the little smear where I didnt get enough stain ![]() ![]() ![]() RGA121 + RG7621 = RGA7621FM ![]() |

![]() | The body was $250 and I used the parts from a RG7621 that I bought on Ebay for $250, and the pickups were $130, so $630 total. Not bad at all for a custom mahogany/maple 7 string! I switched around the D Sonic in the 6'er because its tuned to drop D, and it was just a bit too bright the other way. It sounds good that way for B or C, but not for anything higher. It sounds perfect in the 7's though, even on the high strings, so the 6 and 7 string versions must be just a little different. I actually ripped the DS6 and AN6 from my RG570FM, so its out of commision untill I come up with the cash for new pickups for that. I think im going to switch it up and go with the Tone Zone/Blue Velvet/Humbucker from Hell for that one. Then I'll be set!Last edited by EdgeCrusher; 08-26-2007 at 03:23 PM.
