Anyone else here have an Ibanez RG7321?

Show us some pics, and Tell me what you think of it?

By the way, I'm new.

Welcome aboard.

Oh, and what I think about it? Well.. Honestly the only real thought I have is "I need new pickups." Great player, otherwise. I'm think about getting a D-Sonic 7... Need a job first.

I find the .068 works very well.. My right arm seems to hurt from picking it though.

That was the first set I got, Faine. Was 'alright.

I didnt put them on yet...I got my rg7321 friday night...The guitar is only 12 days old! but I have a question...I noticed while playing it without any amps...The strings make this weird rattle sound...They have that ( brand new string)
sound...but also they rattle...kinda like when youre not putting your finger in between the frets right...or like a rubber band or something.

Is this because Theyre factory crap strings? or what can this be?

...And no I dont have my strings tuned incredibly low. Is this bad fret work?

I'm thinking incredibly low action. Where exactly is the rattling coming from?

Also, on second look, you may want to consider oiling up that fretboard.

Wherever I put my fingers on the Board...This is only when My guitar isnt plugged into an amp... Um I heard this before ( low action) and I dont know how to change that.

I wouldnt say I'm a noob with guitars...I've been playing since 2002 but I never really Learned about the guitars.

Got mine a while ago. Primarily as a backup for any gig going guitars i take since it can retune on the fly.

Id say it needs a pup upgrade since i use a uv most of the time and they arn't as good as the blaze's but they are not bad for stock pups.

Plays alright once you get it set up to your standard.

Sure thing! Just remember a big part of setting guitars up (especially the first few times) is patience. ESPECIALLY with a floating trem .

A fixed bridge is one that does not move - i.e is not a Kahler, Floyd Rose or Fender Synchronised Tremolo type affair.

Example include Tune-O-Matics like you find on Les Pauls and one of the Apex's, and a basic fixed bridge like on the RG7321, RG7421, RG7621, RG15271, RG7EXFX, RG7EX2FX, AX7221, AX7521, and I think one of the HRG7's comes with one.

Heres mine. It's all dusty and the knobs are off it right now (their white as well). Got a Blaze in transit (in white). It's a workhorse guitar. Once you get some pups in it it's awesome, love this guitar to death.
I use 11-62 strings on it~ Ernie ball

On a side note, .66 is the biggest string guage that will fit through my tuner head. Just in case you use that or bigger, you'll have to saw it through some.

Personal preference. I'm quite partial to them myself - I can't stand the feel of the TOM bridge style, but Fixed bridges like on the Rg7321, 7421 etc. are fine to my.

I generally prefer the feel of a Folyd Rose though - and to that end, I prefer blocked off Floyds or the EDGE-FX from Ibanez, which is a fixed Floyd Rose.

That is red electrical tape that I retaped my pickup with... You see, it came from a pawnshop with a broken neck pickup... Turns out two wires were loose. Easy fix.
