broken bridge

Yeah, so the bridge on my Ibanez broke. I'm quite irritated about it. The main part of the bridge broke off from the 2 things that raise and lower the bridge (I forgot what they're called). I'm not exactly sure how it happened and I don't really want to talk about how it happen, since I'm quite frustrated about it.

So, I'm going to have to get the bridge fixed. The Ibanez warranty might cover the costs, but I'm thinking of, instead of fixing the bridge, getting a Lo Pro II bridge installed instead. And maybe, at the same time, getting a DiMarzio Blaze pickup installed in the bridge. How expensive will these things cost (individually) and how long can I expect it to take? Should I contact Ibanez? Or should I contact the store I bought the guitar at? Etc. etc.

Irritated.

If the warranty covers it, have 'em fix it.

Tell me about it. I can't even play the thing now. I whipped out my Gibson and have been playing that since yesterday (I think I like the Gibson much more than the Ibanez, personally. It just sounds better)...

I might call the Ishibashi I bought it from tomorrow, but it will be a drag taking the guitar there since it's 3 hours from where I live (meaning 6-7 hours of transportation in just one day for getting the damn bridge fixed)

Eric, that sucks big-time. Get that thing fixed, and don't let'em give you the run around.

By the way, can anyone tell me the average prices for a Lo Pro II bridge (that's the best one Ibanez has, right?) or for a DiMarzio Blaze pickup?
