81-7 sound clip...

Hey guys, a couple of you wanted me to record a sound clip of how my RG1077XL sounds now with the EMG 81-7 in it now, so i recorded a real quick clip of me just fucking around with some moderate tempo riffs. i love triplets and youll c i use em a lot, lol.

anyways, its only like 15 secs. the tuning is Bstandard, and tomorrow ill record somethin in A standard...

though im not much into this type of sound, it sounds evil, especially for software. i didnt expect toneport to be able to do something really heavy

you mean rectifier (amp-model) + tube-screamel (stomp-model)?

did you use the Diamonplate from the Metalshop, or the Treadplate model?


sounds very EMG-ish, though. I prefer the 707 for that, but it's all taste...

no metal pack, just their standard treadplate model with the Mesa 4x12 Cab simulator. and yes the TS9 was the stompbox.

Its one of the best noise gates you can ever use. It kills 90% of garbage noise without affecting your tone or sustain. you should check it out
