White Bobbin toppers ---> LP7 ---> ???

Ok, so i received my white bobbin toppers for my Epi LP7 from universaljems.com (excellent service by the way).

I put these on... Only to realize that they fit perfectly on my bridge hum. and NOT on my neck hum. WTF??? They're the same size!

Looking closely at it, it really shows. It doesn't from a distance though.
I've sent an e-mail to Brian @ universaljems.com to know what's up with that. Manufacturing problem?

You can really see they don't fit on the neck hum. in this next pic.

Anyway, i still don't know if i'm gonna keep these.
Bought some paint... might also paint the pickup rings in white... Or leave the black pu's with only the rings in white. Don't know yet. Might keep it all black

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Thats happened to me so many times man. Thats why i just gave up on the bobbins and decided that if I ever wanted colored pups to get them from the manufacturer.

I know, but at the price i paid for this guitar, its definitely goin' to be a beater and i don't want to add half of its price in chrome hardware.

Nah never bothered for returns as its sch a low price item. But the first pair of white bobbin stickers I received were perfect. Then when I got the hot pink ones fo my RG7 - they didnt fit perfectly.

I'm such a sucker for white pickups, i've thought about going white with my S 7420.

White toppers are a nice touch in a black guitar. I got myslef some cream rings and zebra pickups for my very goth Schecter Twin Tribal, it gives a nice contrast I think
