Ugh No, I've played both UVs and added blazes to a previous 7321 I owned & they sound similar. You keep trying to say I said things I didn't like: oh duh a uv and 7321 play & sound the same duhut.why would you try to set me up like that? And you know something else, I can sand my 7321 with 1500grit add the frets I want and dress it and it will play alot better than a stock UV by my 'PREFERENCE'. They are both maple necks bolted on to basswood with blaze pickups - guess what? They SOUND SIMILAR SIMILAR SIMILAR what you couldn't take the way I worded it correctly in my writing being I meant generaly speaking? So - subtract your little groupies 5 and add my +7 . Craftsmanship greatly affects tone. The bridge (fixed vs LP or EP) affects tone. A locking nut affects the tone. Where the basswood in question comes from and how much filler is in it affects tone. Most people on this forum really know their stuff or otherwise dont say anything... it might help to take the flame and learn something

Why do you all act as though I don't have 15 some odd years of guitar experience and forshadow that I am ignorant I am fully aware -how every peice of the guitar affects tone. I am just posting and expressing myself as an artist on this beloved forum and someone who doesn't like me jumps my back and this is cause to quit posting? No. Under threat and blackmail that I will recieve negative rep I am notifying this sites administration if further threat of intentional harm to my rep by gangmob negative rep clubbing for my posts is continued. Because you can percieve an emotion through my writing. I am not flamed because there is nothing he said about me to burn me about because it is untrue. And did I ever say any of it sounded exactly alike ? NO. I'll have to get an aftermarket basswood body I will use. It will be better than the body fillered UV Body filler is body filler. This one will have none. He is the one who called me IGNORANT and I'm not. Thats insane. IF they read this and they don't realize they've made a mistake, then they would be just more stubborn than me. They are trying to start stuff. Thats all , they are bored and they mope around on here adding eachother ibby club rep and put people down. Dude, I basically said it was silly to compare a UV and a 7321, which you in fact did do in your posts. You also said some things that I read to imply neck throughs are superior to bolt on guitars. I took issue with that, and to generally slamming a manufacturer like Ibanez. People then agreed with me. I did not negative rep you, nor did I plan some huge conspiracy. Relax man

And I have owned a 7321 and own 3 UVs currently.

As for the topic of the thread, I'd still say of current production models:

J-Custom > EBMM JP7 > UV777BK and if Rob was still running his special to let you get a loaded SII-7 for < $2k that would rule all
