New/Old 7 String Kelly

I couldn't find the original thread regarding this. I had built this guitar in 2006 and i made a mistake on the neck pickup route that basically rendered the guitar totally lame. I was going to throw it into a fire for fun, but instead I wanted to see if i could bring it back from the dead and repair the mistakes on it I made.

before with screwed up ferrules and neck cavity

and tonight - still need to go another few grades of sandpaper but i'm tired and CSI Miami is on. Can't have a night up at the shop without CSI. If this isn't metal as fuck, tell me what I did wrong.

Kahler. Keeping the natural finish woulda been cool, but whatev. Otherwise, this guitar is looking far beyond metal

i think it had to be a solid color to hide the now filled neck pickup...
