I actually meant $250, it's 1249.99. But I hear ya man. I was tempted to try the Viper, but those flag inlays and the horror stories about the neck heaviness sort of put that to bed. I hope you dig it though.

I've always kind of dug SG's so it might be kid of cool.

The neck dive on Vipers is better than on SGs and if you stick the strap button on the horn it makes it really good. I angle my necks up a good amount and my viper is better than my H-207 at staying put, I really dislike strat shapes >__> The V is the best though.

6-string Vipers are ok that way (as are SGs), but the 407 I had was just crazy neck heavy. Even moving the strap button to the horn only made a slight difference. I guess if you got a very grippy strap it might be ok.

I've had my LTD about 9 months now and I love it, but like everyone says it is very neck heavy. I'd love it in white too.

I have had mine for 2 years now, its my main 7. I moved the strap button to behind the neck and it balances perfectly now.

i might get one of those just to have an EMGed guitar... since my main seven will be dimarzioed- ive heard good stuff on this forum and other placed

(was researching this for the other guitarist in my old band)
