So here's where it stands. I was talking to Rob at USACG and USACG needs a bit of input from us. If anyone has some seven string single coil pickups, both Strat and Tele versions, and a traditional Tele bridge, for seven strings of course, that you would be willing to loan to USACG to program it in to the CNC machine it would greatly appreciated.

Also if you goto USACG homepage and look at the pic of the week, that's Rob that has been very cool to deal with. You get to seem him in his "drunken stooper saturday night at the metal show" pose. Those are his words not mine. He is truly sevenstring.org material. By the way the top on the Tele is flame swamp ash, not maple.

I'd love to help out, but sadly have neither 7-string SCs nor a 7-string Tele bridge (for reasons that still illude me, I actually have a 6-string Tele bridge - odd, as I've never owned a Tele). Thank you for keeping us in the loop - I'm really looking forward to seeing these things completed.

Well I need to keep you guys in the loop as this project wouldn't be where it is without the forum's input. Seriously there have been ideas on here I would have never thought of and information offered up that I had no access to. So the forum has been essential to this project.

Kent armstrong makes 7 string singles as both standard mount, and tele bridge mount.
i have yet to try them, but its the only tele lead7 ive seen around.
plus, from the DC rating alone, im hoping that these will sound a little more organic than Blaze Middles.

Rio Grande makes seven string single coils and I'm also going to talk to Vintage Vibe who makes them for Soloway and Bare Knuckles to see what they can do for us.
