Played a C7 Blackjack, woo

A guy I know from my dad's band let me borrow his Schecter which is what I believe to be a C7 Blackjack. It just said C7 Diamond Series and it's definitely not a Hellraiser, so I assume it's a Blackjack. Has that dark red finish with the carpeted or whatever style lines, like my Soloist and a creme binding. Very nice guitar, above average for sure. I gave it a two hour workout as soon as I got home.

Sounds superb on the low end through my Vtone amp, but the pickups are Duncan Designed (gross) and are seriously lacking on the high end, it's weak and just blah.

Very nice guitar overall. The pickups are easily changed to something nicer and I'd give it a 9/10. Needs better strings too, they're most likely stock because he hardly plays the thing. The neck is fat as hell too

I'd buy it if I weren't saving up for my UV777BK. Only enough cash for one. But hey, I've got this awesome thing for a while, so hooray.

that´s not the Blackjack, that´s the C7 (without any further name), the one with the duncan designed pickups...

Well based on your description you didn't play a C7 Blackjack since that model is Black with real Seymour Duncan pickups. There is another model that is a bit older in the Diamond Series that was red and had Duncan Designed pickups, but they're definitely not the same guitars. I think the scale is longer (26.5"?) on the Blackjack too. I've been secretly GASing for one lately too... if I end up with some extra money I might try to snag one.

Oh, my bad then. I'm clueless about Schecter guitars but I can name off Ibanez by heart, haha.

Well regardless, pretty cool.

It's not a C7 either, they don't come in Red (or see-Thru Red as he described). I'm pretty sure it's a Schecter Gryphon 7.

Or it's an older C7 or Omen-7.

They used to. I believe they had ash bodies, as well (but I could be mistaken on that detail).

And it's filled with people who are filled with shit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
But not for long ...

Sounds more likely to be the old C7 to me. Easy way to settle it though: Does it have a 4+3 headstock or a 5+2?

Is it like this one?

If so, that's a C7.
