 | Question about a schecter ... ok i want to buy this guitar SCHECTER DEMON 7 SBK . I think it's a pretty good guitar for it's money. It will be my first 7 string, i have played only 6 strings. My question is about the neck on this guitar and I figured that somebody on this forum owns a similar model, and can help me. Is the radius of this neck similar with the neck of a les paul ( gibson or epiphone) or with a ibanez/ jackson type? I want to know how does this neck feel in the hand, les-paulish or ibanez-ish ?  )and by the way , how do the seymour duncans compare to the emg's ? sorry for my spelling, doing my best. me...living...in fu@kin transylvania... ) |

| don´t know about the pickups, but schecter´s 7 sting necks are a little thicker than ibanez flat necks, but it´s really really comfortable... -------------------------------------- Æn Æppl Æ Dæi, Kiips De Dåktor Awæi |

 | Schecter necks are much more like a Les Paul than an Ibanez. Very beefy but still comfortable. |

 | It takes a few minutes to get used to, but once you do it's great. After playing my Schecter for a weekend, and then going to my friends house and picking up his 6-string ibanez, I felt as though I could wrap my pinky around the entire thing  Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known.  |
