7-string necks similar to Soloist-style feel?

If you guys aren't annoyed by my multitudes of threads yet I've got another question for any of those who have played a wide variety of 7-string necks. My Jackson Soloist is my main guitar and I love the feel of the neck. It's finished and I don't know if you'd consider it a laminated neck, but if you've played a Soloist you know what I mean. It's fast basically.

I like the balance between thickness and the contour of the neck the most. I have an Explorer as well and I love it, but I never liked the massive size of Gibson necks. I'm a big Charvel/Jackson and Ibanez fan. I do still plan on purchasing a UV777BK in the next few months when I get the money because I have tried one and I like the unfinished feel a lot, but are there any 7-strings that have necks that feel similarly to a Soloist style one without being a Custom Shop work?

my main "go-to" guitar has been an SL2H for the last 5 years.
I've got a Carvin Dc727 and it's somewaht close to the Jackson in neck shape. the fret board radius is a little flatter thatn what Jackson uses
but it's somewhat comparable.
A 7 string soloist is my dream 7 , but I ain't forking over that kind of money.

Can I be the devil on your shoulder?

Well, you could always buy one of the Jackson Stars Soloist 7s from Ikebe. Noodles' Stars Soloist is pretty close to a 6 string (and my Soloist 7, actually) in feel - at least as close as you get in a 7.

The COW7 is a little different...

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.
