That would be nice, but knowing Ibanez it would be made in Indonesia or Korea, cost $1499 and still have terrible stock pickups. If they made the RGA321F model they have but in a 7, I'd definitely get it if it was reasonably priced.

I was talking with the Ibanez representive about that last year and he said that the RGA series is really popular among a certain group of people, but it hasn't gotten enough popularity to be made into a production line 7-string. He said that depending on how many people ask for one, it might get made in the future, though.
That is a surprise. I didn't think anyone on this forum liked sevens. |

Chris Woods is actually doing an RGA body for me to be paired with the neck/hardware off of an RG7620.
He's apparently finally working on painting the body that was supposed to have been finished and shipped to me by 5/18/07 ![]() ![]() Pics of the body are here: Exotic wood guitar body CT1

That's a fucking HOT top, though.
![]() Looks like it has less arch than a RGA, but whatever, it'll be gorgeous when finished.

+1 Chris does AMAZING work and it's going to gorgeous, it's just a little frustrating ![]() Oh and if anybody is looking for quilt top seven RG bodies, he's got a mahogany and an alder that both look gorgeous in his store and I think he just dropped the prices on them as I'd swear they were $385 the last time I looked and they're $350 now: GB7002 & GB7003 http://homepage.mac.com/bigvelvetdog/Store/storegb.html http://homepage.mac.com/bigvelvetdog...pleguitaa.html http://homepage.mac.com/bigvelvetdog...pleguitab.html |
