![]() | i had a go on a cow 6 at my local shop and the guitar did felt a bit plasticky. fretwork was immaculate but i was a tad surprised with the gaps around the neck/body joint. i believed that the neck/body joint is supposed to be tight as a virgin for optimal tonal transfer and sustain on a bolt-on but the cow 6 i tried was far from that. i am not saying that all jacksons are such but i suspect this particular cow 6 is a lemon. my apologies in advance jackson fans but no offense was intended in any way. |

I loved it because it was so light and has the beefy lows of a mahogany body but with more definition and brightness at the same time. Plasticy isn't the word I'd use, I'd say lightweight or different. _________________________ "Ah, she's built like a steakhouse but she handles like a bistro" - ZB My Soundclick Page |

![]() | the cow is certainly lightweight for a solidbody. i have a mij fender tele thinline special as well as a reverend rocco. to me, these are lightweight guitars. however, they have a 'solid-ness' not found in the cow 6 i tried. maybe its the density of the wood used. the cow is definitely different. fwiw, i love lightweight guitars! |
