Im looking for a seven string shredding machine

The only 7 I can think of that may meet your needs (other than the Dean Rusty sig), but they're not cheap. I also can't say whether the necks are fast, but a couple people could weigh in on that.

Tough Call.

Almost all of the seven string guitars out there are either Rosewood Fretboard or Hardtail. I can think of a few production models with Ebony fretboards, but they are expensive or they are hardtails.

You could always keep an eye out for a custom that's on sale, or have a custom neck made for an otherwise-rosewood fretboard guitar.

Mannes are amazing guitars. They have slim, fast necks, excellent build quality, sound killer, and are light as a feather. The guys from Zero Hour play them, so I had a chance to sit down with one when we played with them a few months back.
