Ugh.. my 7 is gone.

Two or so months ago I traded my RG7321 + cash to a nearby guitar store for my Alexi-600 and I totally took a hit on the trade in value. I know what you're thinking, it's a budget guitar, can't be that good, blah blah blah, but this thing was set up perfectly and had a good neck. Here I was thinking they'd still have it because that guy acted like I was giving him a guitar covered in AIDS or something and I call today and find out all they have is a crappy AX 7string.

Well, needless to say I'm disappointed. I thought I was going to get it back and customize it and crap, but I guess if I want a 7 I'm going to have to get a new one now.

Hopefully a new UV will be coming my way by Christmas though, I've been saving up my cash long enough.

They probably sold it for twice what they gave you for it.

Sometimes a person has to make a decision of keeping either one piece of gear or another, depending on which one will be the most useful. I wouldn't get too upset about it. You'll get another. Probably a better one than you had before.

Yeah, well I bought the Alexi-600 because I needed a killer looking guitar for a rated show, a sort of talent/battle deal (sorry I'm turrible at the description) and I played an amazingly badass metal song.. Thunderhorse!

Long story short, people loved the guitar, I killed the rest of the acts, I won hardcore and got $200 and a lot of recognition. So I don't regret the purchase, but the use for the guitar is really gone for me. I only played it once before and for that show because that thing really is a show guitar. I'm a "sit down with a metronome and practice hardcore" kinda player and flying V's aren't really my deal. I do practice with classical positioning too, but I just can't get into V's other than playing them for a show.

When I first saw this thread - I thought someone stole your 7. Glad to hear that you sold it and didnt have it stolen.

Sell the V on ebay and get another RG7321 - its not like they are ultra rare.
