They feel like 9s on top but the low end tightens up nicely, but not too much.
Theyre no where near floppy, but more manipulative for nasty bends and vibrato, that for me doesnt come too well from 13's.

Then i tossed a .56 on top for good measure.

I play 9-42 D'Addarios with a DR high Beam 56 for the low B
but I've been thinking of going to 10's just for a little fatter tone , but these might just be the ticket

Dude, I use 9-42 with a 54 for the low A on one of mine tuned to A standard, and it's the best set-up I've ever had. Not too loose, just perfect!

It's where you put a small piece of paper or brass in between the neck and body to help angle the neck for the desired action. I shimmed mine so the higher strings would be closer to the fretboard so i didnt have to lower the bridge any further.. Drew is actually our local setup master - He could probably explain it a whole lot better too hehe
