Attention RG8427 owners

I was considering this guitar... but i want to know if its actually black... or dark purple in the BX color variation, because it looks purple in ikebe...

would you go for the black onyx or fire agitate if you had the choice?

i normally like all black guitars but have mixed feelings about a purple one..

the yellow is one is growing on me--- its even more in your face

and everyone ive seen with the RG 8427 has a bx

Looks purple to me.

I'd get the orangish one if I were you, although the purple one looks pretty sweet as well. I've seen the orange one in stores around here before, but I've never seen the purple one in person.

I have the BX, In most light it looks black. If your holding it up to a light bulb then it looks purple. But either way it looks amazing in person and plays even better.

fire agitate all the way!! The purple is just way to girly looking! the color is girly not the guitar.

its a seethru black with a flamed top, looks exactly the same as my horizon, purple under intense lighting, black anywhere else

the "purple" is actually black, flash does that to the stain.

and IMO fire argate when i get mine

fuck me that dark/purple-ish colour looks kick ass. how much are those puppies going for? In aus or US dollars

over here in the uk, you can pay that for a used one if you dont import!

thanks a lot guys... now theres an origional ikebe model thats almost the same thing with dual PAF's.... idk if i should get that now lol
