I don't get it? You don't like the colour or the smaller dots? Because other than that they are visually the same guitar. Okay, there is no swirl on the headstock...

The RG1527 is an awesome guitar, and pretty much in the same league as the 7620. People often dislike the stock PU's on the 7620, as on the 1527. Almost all of the 7620 owners here have changed their pickups to something else(except Regor ), just like the 1527 owners.

I can't really say anything about the trem subject though.

Some people (myself included) don't really like the mirage finish. Especially on the 1570.

But that wouldn't keep me from getting one, honestly.

I say Ibanez, for their awesome necks and unbeatable prices.
Well, I really think that there was something wrong with that guitar, since my Hellraiser doesen't have any buzz and it plays great.

And the price issuea, I think that the Hellraiser is pretty good bang for the buck too. EMG's, Tonepros, Grover tuners. So I wouldn't call Ibanez prices unbeatable, since Schecter offers more for the same price.

But of course it all comes down to what you like.

Yeah, Ibanez's have great necks and I love them as well, but the Schecter neck is not as bad as lot of people say. It took me 10 minutes to get used to the neck. Yes, it is thicker, but it still is flat and fast. It didn't seem to slow Jeff Loomis down

No, the hellraiser is an awesome guitar, but it just wasn't for me. The string action didn't feel right for me and to kick it off it had a bunch of buzz.

But I learned a lesson. when buying a guitar, always MAKE sure that the one you're looking at FEELs right, not LOOKS right. Function over form. It will stick with me forever.

I say Ibanez. But I can tell you the only reason why I take Ibanez over Schecters: Schecters are TOM or String-thru body. I really dislike playing on raised bridges. Not that there is anything wrong with them. It's just a personal preference. I find stoptails, hardtails, FR's, basically a tremolo bridge MUCH more comfortable. But don't take my word, go try 'em both.

its just a little picky thing that i have that i greatly dislike the color scheme of the 1527's they're all pretty much greenish right? im not a fan of that look and the bright neck isnt for me either, the reason i ask about the 7420 is because i see one online with emg's a floyd and i am interested in it although the 7620 went back online so im not really sure which to get,

thats what i figured about the schecters, i played the hellrasier twice at guitar center it didnt feel bad but it felt very different from what i have now, but i dont know if the C-7 FR and the loomis signature feel different or the same or what, so i didnt even think about it really, but i agree definitally that schecters prices are extremely good but i am getting alot of ibanez reccomendations from alot of people, also i dont see either of those schecters on samash or guitar centers site's so it doesnt look like i would be able to get it since i already know there arent any local stores with them in stock, all the stores around here seem to carry more offbrand stuff.

But well, they are all awesome guitars, so I think you will be happy no matter which one of them you decide to get
