Now, everything I said comes from my experience owning an AX7221. It was my first 7-string, and I picked it up for $125. I even tried a JB7 in it, since I've been using the JB almost as long as I've been playing. I couldn't get a single tone I liked out of that guitar. The scale was too short, the neck was too thick, and everything sounded like mud. I stand by my statements, I hated that guitar. If you like it, though, then good for you. I'm happy for you. Who cares what the hell we think if you're happy? Just realize that when someone asks for advice, everyone who has had a negative experience is going to step up and say something. You're going to have to learn to accept that if you want to stick around here.

Well I went out and got it - needs to be cleaned but I think for the money its pretty solid. Electronics are in like new condition - neck needs oil like nothing. Came with a hardshell case.

It plays well - just need to change the strings. Someone stuck on like a .70 with a set of 9s.

I purchased one of these last week and have no complaints. Feels comfortable to me and plays pretty decently. A good guitar for it's money. I also have pretty small hands ( I'm 5foot6) and don't find the neck uncomfortable at all, probably because i'm used to playing schecters. I also happen to like both the shape and colour of the instrument. Just one guitarist's oppinion.
