He's paying you $100 to take it off his hands? That's not too bad, I say go for it.

Yes, it really is that bad. The neck is like a baseball bat, the body is too heavy and cumbersome, the 24 3/4" scale makes the lows sound like mud, upper fret access is non-existent, the hardware and electronics are garbage, and the fretwork sucks. It is the worst 7-string Ibanez makes.

Ya i would definately just steer away from this one. Buy a 7321 if u want a fixed bridge model that bad, the 7221 is just not worth it.

Come on guys, it's not THAT bad... I mean, for only 100$... Nothing much to lose there. A beater that you don't mind dropping on the floor...
It's a low range Ibanez so i think the guy knows what to expect. Still is a Ibanez though, not a Daisy rock. I've played one recently and it's decent at best. djpharoah, have you tried it? That would be the key. |

I thought it was okay. $200 brand new might even be a little much.

I don't know, a used 7321 might be a better option if you're looking for a guitar that you can tune quickly and use productivly for you music. Plus if you dont mind getting one that was used as a beater, you can probably snag one for a great price. Remember, it's not just the stock pickups that make the difference in this case, the neck on the 7321 is elite, and the action on it feels kingly compared to the AX.
