Hum from my RG7421

Im getting a slight hum noise from my RG7421. I have tried the guitar on different amps,cables,pedals,no pedals, direct to the amp and so on. Here is the kicker when im not playing i hear the hum,(volume on 5 to 10) and when i touch the volume knob it stops. I have no hum with it at zero. Is my volume knob just bad or grounded wrong. Oh yeah the guitar is complety stock and has never been worked on or had anything inside replaced. Please help

I think you have problem with earth/ground connection.
