Toshiro is absolutely right.
The idea itself is good. Classicals use the same nut width and have a neck as thick as sevens, and that's on six strings. There's a reason for that and that's the complex fingerings and fingerpickings you use in classical music. It doesn't feel good on thinner necks I've tryed it)
Modding a guitar will be way cheaper than getting a custom instrument with those specs.
