Refinish or not ?

I was thinking about Refinishing my DR7 ...

Color like this ...

would be awesome ... :

If i would refinish it the work would be 100% amateur... 'cause i dont have too many $$ to spend...

for most of you my DR7 is just an average 200$ guitar .. so ?

as i dont know how to add a poll ...

refinish or not ?

it's not like its gonna devaluate the guitar... you could still sandpaper it and repaint it in case it doesn't turn out quite right

oh.. I only want to paint it red + a black Jackson decal for the headstock
and dye the fretboard black

pickups, hardware etc. stay the same ...
