It's a pretty good feeling, isn't it? I remember a couple years back where there was something wrong with my amp and I tried to find out what was wrong for over a month and, when I finally found out what was wrong, I easily fixed it and felt relief that I'd been lacking for almost a month.

Fuck yeah it is! I'll be 100% honest. I put the guitar back together and took it to GC to see if it'd feedback on a regular amp, because if it didn't, I was going to take it to another store and see if they'd do an even swap for a used 7-string Ibanez acoustic that's been sitting up there for a while.

As cool as a 7-string acoustic would be, this is a WAY cooler stage guitar, and I'm sooooo glad I finally figured it out and now I can kick some major metal ass on stage with it!!!

Paper towels work WAY better than hankerchiefs.

Who said anything about hankerchiefs? PAPER napkins or PAPER towels. Was that clarifying enough for ya?

Well, had band practice yesterday with it. While it wasn't on my 'live' rig, but rather a Boss ME-8 thru my 2:90 into my 4x12, it seems like the problem is fixed now.

It chirped ever so slightly at first, so after a couple of songs, I backed the p/u's off about 0.5mm all around and turned the noise gate on the pedalboard up from 50 to 100. After that, I don't recall hearing any more chirping. And since my real rig has 2 noise gates, I'm sure it'll be fine.

We've got a block party on July 21st. So I'll have plenty of opportunity to test it out then, as it's a very laid back atmosphere, and I'd have plenty of time to fart around with it to get it tweaked perfectly with my full rig, since we're doing 3 - 1 hour sets.
